28 June | 10 am - 4 pm | Koukoulee, Oneroa, Waiheke Island
Early Bird $295 (until 7 June) | Standard $345
When effort stops working
You get through your days, but you’re more easily overwhelmed than you used to be.
Sleep doesn’t always restore you.
Stress lingers in your body.
You know how to push through — but recovery takes longer, and your capacity feels smaller.
Many women reach a point where effort stops working. Not because they’re doing life wrong, but because their body is asking for a different kind of support.
This day is designed to meet you there.
A different kind of support
This is not a bootcamp, and it’s not passive pampering.
It’s a thoughtfully paced day designed to help your nervous system settle, your energy stabilise, and your mind become quieter again.
Through movement, rest, meditation, nourishment, and spacious integration time, you’ll be supported to reconnect with your body
in a way that feels sustainable, intelligent, and deeply restorative.

Schedule
10:00am — Arrival + Welcome CircleA gentle arrival with tea, followed by a welcoming circle. A simple space to land, exhale, and hear others describe experiences you may have thought were just yours.
10:30am–11:30am — Strengthening, Non-Depleting MovementA strengthening but non-depleting yoga practice to wake up energy, support circulation, and reconnect you with your body without pushing it.
11:30am–12:00pm — Guided MeditationA guided meditation designed to reduce mental noise and create a sense of internal quiet before the rest of the day unfolds.
12:00pm–1:00pm — Nourishing LunchA tailored, nourishing lunch designed to support steady energy — not spikes and crashes. A full hour to eat, rest, and connect.
1:00pm–2:00pm — Integration TimeThis hour is intentionally unstructured. You can choose what your body needs most: a quiet ocean walk, time alone to rest, or a massage. There’s no expectation to “do” anything — just space to listen.
2:00pm–3:30pm — Yin + Yoga NidraLong-form yin to release accumulated tension and fatigue, followed by guided Yoga Nidra to support deep nervous system restoration.
3.30pm–4:00pm — Closing + IntegrationA gentle close to the day. Time to settle, reflect, and leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more resourced.
This retreat is guided by Yuna May, an experienced yoga teacher and Sophrologist (dynamic relaxation techniques) who works primarily with women managing full lives — careers, families, and competing demands — and who understands that many bodies no longer respond well to “push harder” approaches.
With over 15 years of practice and more than 600 hours of training in Hatha Yoga, Yin, yoga for menopause, restorative yoga, and more, her teaching blends functional strength and mobility work, fascia-focused yin practices, and nervous system regulation.
The emphasis is practical: helping you feel better in your real life, not just on the mat.
You won’t be asked to perform, keep up, or get it right. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of clarity about how to sustainably care for yourself — and from that steadiness, a greater capacity to meet the people and demands in your life without feeling depleted.

OVERVIEWThroughout the day, you’ll be encouraged to notice your own signals — not override them. To rediscover tools you already carry, and learn a few new ones you can use immediately in daily life. The goal isn’t just relaxation on the day.
It’s resilience afterwards.

Extend Your Experience (Optional)
For those who would like to ease into the retreat more slowly, we offer a small number of optional add-ons to extend your time on the island.
Arrive the Day Before
We can assist with arranging accommodation on Waiheke for the Saturday (and Friday) evening, allowing you to arrive without rush and begin your reset before the day even begins.
Whether you come alone or with a friend, this creates space to fully step out of your usual rhythm and into something quieter.
Saturday Treatments at Koukoulee
You’re also welcome to book a treatment on the Saturday prior to the retreat.
Massage
Facial
Combination treatments
Starting the weekend with bodywork can help settle your system and deepen the effects of the retreat the following day.
A Slower Way In
There’s no expectation to add anything extra.
But for many women, arriving early and taking that extra time can make the shift into the retreat feel more complete — less like stepping out of life for a few hours, and more like properly resetting.
